R.I.P.
as most of you know i have love MJ since i was a wee babe and although it is sad...i think he was pretty much gone for a while. so please stop blasting your car radio with Billy Jean and Thriller...i get it. I GET IT. oh and if you could stop with the looping rotation of the MJ greatest hits album while im trying to get my drink on it would be much appreciated...give it a rest and give him a rest.

Stump were an Anglo-Irish indie/experimental/rock group featuring former Microdisney members Mick Lynch (vocals) and Rob McKahey (drums), along with Kev Hopper (bass) and Chris Salmon (guitar). They formed in London in 1983. The original vocalist was Nick Hobbs, who left early on to form The Shrubs. Their first release was a four track EP Mud on a Colon. Their only full-length release, A Fierce Pancake (named after a term meaning 'deep conundrum' in 'The Third Policeman' by Flann O'Brien) released in 1988 was recorded in Berlin. AWESOME!!

my friend CHRISTIN showed me the trailer for this movie HAUSU from 1977 and i cant wait to see it! It is directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi. i like the way this imdb commenter wrote about it...sure makes me wanna watch:
Oh man,"Hausu" is an extremely weird and grotesque horror parody. It is also supremely stylish and visually mindblowing. The plot of "House" is quite easy to describe:seven schoolgirls travel to visit grandmother at her spooky old house. It's not clear whose grandmother she is,as every character in the movie is referred to by a nickname and they all call the old woman Ojii. The house turns out to be a demon that wants to eat them and grandmother is apparently a cat.Words can't describe how positively bizarre this movie is.It plays like the cross between "Suspiria" and "Beetlejuice".There are plenty scenes of kitschy humour plus some scares for example when one of the girls tries to sneak the watermelon out,she finds a human head down the well instead. One girl is even eaten by a piano in a very gory fashion and the dead victim's fingers are still playing the piano after being bitten off.9 out of 10.

film obsexed
i am excited about the making of my first real short film project. My video work has been a bit hectic and layered lately and without narrative. i have become inspired by futurist film and the idea of creating a set. Mostly i am obsessing over Giulio Bragaglias futuristic project THAIS. here are some images. I will be thrilled to show you my film when it is done...it is hopefully finished in time for a short film festival next month so you wont have to wait long. It will be a futuristic story of creation but in a very sarcasm meets nostalgia kind of way. Cant wait!
